Classical Osteopathy is a holistic, hands-on manual therapy that emphasizes the importance of treating the whole body, rather than just chase symptoms or disease. Osteopaths work with the structure and function relationships between all systems of the body, including fascia, muscles and joints. By doing so, the body has the ability to self heal and self regulate through the appropriate distribution of nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics. This improves mobility, reduces inflammation and stress and promotes overall healing.

One of the benefits of classical osteopathy is its ability to address a wide variety of conditions such as acute and chronic pain, digestive issues, respiratory issues, male/female reproductive issues and musculoskeletal injuries.

Christina is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Masters of Osteopathic Manual Science (M.OMSc.)

Before this, Christina completed her Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University, where she also competed in NCAA rowing while on an athletic scholarship. Back in Canada, she advanced her undergraduate degree and obtained a graduate certificate in Exercise Science for Health and Performance, allowing her to design programs to support those with chronic conditions and optimizing the performance of athletic populations. This is where she discovered her love of anatomy, physiology and the human body.

Christina uses classical osteopathic principles to restore the body’s innate ability to self heal and regulate by reinstating the proper relationships of structure and function. Through her thoroughly full body assessment, Christina will help navigate the root cause of dysfunction by restoring proper body mechanics, opening up circulation and nerve impulses so that all tissues are able to receive adequate nerve supply, nutrition and waste removal. She strives to provide you with individualized treatment to bring back your health.
